The German power metal band Mob Rules, celebrate their twentieth anniversary and therefore they released
Timekeeper, 20th Anniversary Box, a four-disc box set including a 44-page booklet and a sticker.
Mob Rules was founded in 1994 by Klaus Dirks (vocals) and Matthias Mineur
(guitar). In 1999 they released their debut album Savage Land.
The band is counted among Europe's strongest live acts.
On the first disc you'll find fifteen well-known
tracks that cover Mob Rules career from the second album onto the last one Cannibal Nation
(2012). The second CD is much more interesting for diehard fans of German power metal as it features eight
re-recorded songs with guest appearances on all of the tracks. So, listen to Udo Dirkschneider (ex-Accept,
U.D.O.) in Insurgeria or to Amanda Somerville, known for her
work with many symphonic metal bands, in End Of All Days and you'll hear good
old Mob Rules songs in a slightly different way. Furthermore the brand new song Broken
has been recorded for this CD and you may enjoy an orchestral version of the new single My Kingdom Come.
If you buy the whole package you'll also get a DVD called Mob Rules Over America,
containing eleven great power metal tracks, plus the five official videos the band recorded.
