Another live album by Steve Hackett?? Yes, and do we need (want) another one? We sure do, as this new live double album is one of Hackett's best indeed.

This is the first time that you can enjoy the classic Genesis album Selling England By The Pound (1973) live in its entirety and it is a blast; utter bliss indeed! This album was recorded on the final night of the 2019 Tour and besides the Selling England songs it is a mix of Spectral Morning (1979) tracks, three songs from his awesome album The Edge Of Light and one unreleased song, being Déjà vu, which was written by Peter Gabriel, but in the end finished by Hackett himself. The band around Hackett consists of Roger King (keys), Jonas Reingold (bass guitar), Rob Townsend (sax and flute), Craig Blundell (drums) and Nad Sylvan (vocals), also featuring guests John Hackett (flute) and Amanda Lehmann (guitar and backing vocals). This is a superb album, so a must have for Hackett fans and prog rock fans and the highlights are many. For me, the magical moments are: Under The Eye Of The Sun, Spectral Mornings, Dancing With The Moonlit Knight, Firth Of Fifth (best live version ever, Hackett rules and shines here), The Battle Of Epping Forest and of course the always on the set list The Cinema Show, Dance On A Volcano and Los Endos. The latter is a special version with lots of saxophone by the way.

So, again, a must have album of super guitar picker Steve Hackett, I cannot get enough of his amazing music and guitar playing; play it LOUD!!!
