20 Years ago Dutch prog outfit Flamborough Head released “Tales Of Imperfection”, their 5th studio album. In the Vault, The Wallace Collection with Daydream from the album "Laughing Cavalier”. The Wallace Collection was a Belgian band and the album was recorded at the Abbey Road Studios (!). The song became a number one hit in more than 20 countries. Portishead used a sample of the song on their single "Glory Box" in 1995. The song is currently used for a TV advertisment for "Save The Children”. Our Album of the Month is by Italian band Overture and their 2nd album A Mezz'aria Sul Tempo. Their first, called “Overture”, was released in 2018 and in September that year it was also the album of the month at TVRDO. The second hour we play four long tracks, so called Epics. |
